Dreams of You

Your shadow still lingers, where love was once bright;
Day gives birth to day, night summons forth night...
Buried deep within my heart, memories dance at full height...
Thoughts of you... only increases the pain.

I lift my head up for but a moment, thankful for the brief scent of love;
No words will come: my heart is numb...
Once again I’ll ask above.

Gorgeous orange sunrises illuminate ageless skies, engendering a new day of life;
But... always reminding me of you...
Hopeless, now, I ache to see the sun set.

Nighttime...  Darkness...  DREAMS OF YOU

Read the Bible in an "undertone" (Joshua 1:8)

Reading in an "undertone" means that you should read at a pace that allows for meditation. When you read the Bible “ in an undertone ,” it will help you to fix attention on portions that are especially useful and encouraging to you at that moment. On finding such phrases, verses, or accounts, read them slowly , perhaps forming the words with the tongue and lips. The full weight of a Scriptural point may strike you in a deeply personal way. Why is this important? Because getting the sense of God’s counsel gives you strong motivation to put it into practice. (w13, p.8, par. 4)
