Gregory Hanson

Gregory Hanson
I was born in southern California and spent my early years between Long Beach and Huntington Beach, the son of Mary and Melvin E. Hanson.

My father was a well-known inventor in the communications business, designing and distributing his Melehan Valiant telegraph key (pictured below) around the world. Early years spent training with him got me interested in technology.

Received formal education in Long Beach, graduating from Wilson High School in 1970. Music and sports occupied the majority of my free time, playing and traveling with both.
Began my secular career in law enforcement, then moved to Brooklyn, New York, in 1973.  Spent eight years doing volunteer work in Brooklyn, New York, returning to California in 1981.

Cookie Hanson (Tour de Faux)

Got married to my beautiful wife, Cookie, in 1983.  In 1985, we started a window cleaning business in Orange County, CA.  Enjoyed success providing services there until we moved to Montana in 1996.  We were happy to call Missoula, Montana as our home for sixteen years, until we relocated to beautiful Asheville, NC in 2011.  Now - exploring Asheville with a camera and a tripod.  Life is good.

Window cleaning had been my main profession from 1985 until 2011, operating as Hanson Window Cleaning. My wife, Cookie Hanson, operated a decorative art business, Tour de Faux.

Very pleased to be a Business Consultant with the Nikken company. First joined Nikken in 2004, and have found their products to be outstanding. Magnetic technology and therapy products have been part of our lives for many years, and it is hard to imagine a day without them. For more information on either the product line or to become an independent Consultant, contact me at (828) 237-1952.

Read the Bible in an "undertone" (Joshua 1:8)

Reading in an "undertone" means that you should read at a pace that allows for meditation. When you read the Bible “ in an undertone ,” it will help you to fix attention on portions that are especially useful and encouraging to you at that moment. On finding such phrases, verses, or accounts, read them slowly , perhaps forming the words with the tongue and lips. The full weight of a Scriptural point may strike you in a deeply personal way. Why is this important? Because getting the sense of God’s counsel gives you strong motivation to put it into practice. (w13, p.8, par. 4)
